There were no unique challenges for Accenture, as the brief was concise and the available space was specific, other than the building they were in was 40+ years old.
Accenture requested an “Innovation (presentation) Room” which was to be slick, modern, and “futuristic” in appearance. Plug&Play facilities were required for all participants and some element of their CI was to be incorporated.
A slick flush plasterboard ceiling was built, with a curved recessed bulkhead and hidden LED lighting which alternated colours to incorporate the Accenture CI. The front wall was also curved in sections to follow the line of the bulkhead with corner mounted presentation monitors and a centre section for large scale projection and video conferencing. High polished porcelain tiles with LED flush mount light channels were inset in the floor – this assisted with the challenge of getting power and data into the curved centrally positioned meeting table.
